Grip and release button
Confirm the handle grip and release mechanism do not block the intended position.
Check before you buy
Start with the handle configuration. Travel Ledge is designed for compatible luggage with two separate telescoping handle posts—not every suitcase.

Step 1
Extend the handle fully. Look below the grip for two distinct vertical posts that stay parallel. A single center post, unusually wide housing, curved handle, or enclosed frame may not fit.
Step 2
Use a rigid ruler at the height where Travel Ledge will sit. Record the measurement method—center-to-center, inside-to-inside, or outside-to-outside—and take a clear photo.
Step 3
Confirm the handle grip and release mechanism do not block the intended position.
Note tapering, curved, angled, unusually thick, or non-parallel posts.
Check molded shells, fabric, zippers, or housings near the top of the bag.
Still unsure?
Include the suitcase brand/model if known and describe the handle configuration. Never force Travel Ledge onto a handle that appears obstructed or incompatible.
